Our story
The business began in 2008 as Discerning Soups, founded to meet a need for customers who wanted true, fresh, home-made soup without the bother of making it themselves. Soon after, we introduced a small range of dips — and they quickly became what people came back for.
Today we trade as Discerning Dips: the same family kitchen in Surrey, the same care for every batch, now focused on the dips and patés that built the reputation. Jane still makes soup occasionally, mainly for the family.
